Sonamasuri Brown Rice or "hulled rice", an unmilled or partly milled rice, which is chewier and more nutritious than the white rice. The benefits of brown rice are many when compared to polished rice as it retains the natural wholeness of the grain. It contains 4% of the recommended daily iron intake. It is also rich in calcium, potassium, manganese and selenium. Selenium is an antioxidant that improves overall health according to a study published in the American Heart Journal.
